Summary
As a Senior within the transaction Advisory team, you will work as part of a team of critical thinkers to help clients understand and solve complex client issues. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day tasks necessary to drive a project from planning through completion. You will also be responsible for a variety of engagements such as transaction advisory services, process improvement, internal control assessment, and testing and general management consulting.
Essential Functions

  • Work closely with clients, managers and partners in providing financial and operational analysis with respect to buy-and-side financial due diligence engagements.
  • Act as the responsible party for specific engagements for both buy-side and sell-side engagements with investment banks, private equity groups and other corporate buyers.
  • Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends.
  • Help to lead, prepare, or delegate and oversee preparation of Quality of Earnings databooks, proof of cash exercises, and management interviews.
  • Coordinate with the internal team and Management regarding client expectations, timing, and logistics.
  • Effectively write and communicate the results of the findings from our procedures.
  • Help to train and supervise lower-level staff members.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience in Quality of Earnings or other Transaction Advisory Services
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Well-developed decision-making skills and initiative to make those decisions
  • Work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Prioritize a heavy workload and remain organized
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team setting
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
  • Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverables
  • Some travel is required to various client sites depending on the scope of the engagements
  • Licensed CPA is a plus
