Job Details:
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for daily plant accounting functions. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks, setting priorities, evaluating results, the ability to work independently and with a diversified group. This includes making payments to Feedlots for cattle, checking and verifying documents and may also require interaction with supervisors and other plant management. Applicant will be expected to cross-train in all areas of the office to provide vacation and sick coverage to others. Job functions include, but are not limited to production yields, cost reporting, and daily time and attendance.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Must have high school diploma or GED, vocational school or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1-year office experience. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office required; basic SAP experience preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to understand, implement, and follow written policies.
Certification: None
Special Skills: 10-key preferred.
Supervisory: None
Travel: Minimal
