We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our CAS team based in Pinetown, South Africa. About the RoleThe Accounts Receivable Administrator will be responsible for regular communication and interaction with a variety of customers to ensure timeous collections, manage and sustain the business cash-flow. This role reports directly to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader.

What You Will DoEnsure customers receive their invoices, credit notes, PODS and statements;
Prompt and effective customer query resolution;
Ensure customer claims are received and processed;
Prompt capturing of credit notes;
Ensure payments are received according to the agreed terms and targets;
Engage with customers for payment and follow up on overdue amounts;
Prepare and send final demand letters to customers as required;
Responsible for the allocation of payments received and reconciliation of customer accounts;
Responsible for timeous calculations of rebates, promotions and discounts;
Support with new credit applications process;
Prepare manual statements as required;
Timely and accurate completion of month-end administration & reporting, and ad hoc reporting requirements;
Continuous collaboration and support to internal and external stakeholders;
Cross functional support within the CAS team (Export and Local).
Must have matric and post matric financial qualification. Credit Management (Phase 1 & 2) will be advantageous;
Minimum of 3 years credit control experience, from FMCG – Professional Hygiene and Consumer Goods industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SAPB1 / S4 Hana;
Available to travel and visit customers when required;
Must be an excellent communicator (verbal, written & listening) and be fluent in English;
Deadline driven with strong prioritizing, administration and attention to detail skills.
