Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances or discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and transactions.
- Assist with audits and compliance requirements.
- Monitor accounting processes and recommend improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting team members.
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent relevant work related experience required.
Two years of Accounting, Reporting, and Analysis/related work experience or equivalent combination of related training and experience required. Three years preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act. - required
Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - required
Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office. Microsoft Access and SAP experience a plus.
Proficient financial analytical skills and ability to research variances.
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
