We value accuracy, integrity, and dependable service—both on the sales floor and behind the scenes. ## Role Overview We are looking for an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure accurate financial records for the business. This role is ideal for early-career professionals (0–5 years of experience) who are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in a hands-on retail environment. ## Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and supporting schedules * Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions * Record sales, collections, supplier invoices, and other store-related transactions accurately and on time * Perform bank and cash reconciliations; monitor cash flow and daily cash positions * Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports * Support inventory-related accounting (e.g., stock movements, costing, reconciliation with physical counts) * Prepare and organize documents for audits, management review, and compliance requirements * Coordinate with internal teams and external parties (banks, suppliers, auditors) as needed * Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of accounting records and documents ## Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or a related field * 0–5 years of relevant accounting experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply) * Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting * Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications * Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling financial data * Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a small team * Willing to work on-site in Dasmariñas, Philippines ## Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) * Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar systems) * Background in retail, inventory accounting, or point-of-sale (POS) reconciliation * Basic knowledge of Philippine tax and statutory requirements (e.g., BIR documentation and compliance) * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment ## What Success Looks Like in This Role * Transactions are recorded correctly and supported with complete documentation * Reconciliations are completed on schedule with minimal variances * Financial reports are timely, clear, and reliable for decision-making * Strong coordination with store operations to ensure accurate sales, collections, and inventory records ## Work Location On-site — Dasmariñas, Philippines
