Key Responsibilities
We seek a competent and trustworthy Accountant to independently manage the books of accounts for a Family Office. The ideal candidate must have strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on ERP experience and the ability to prepare financial statements, including Profit & Loss, independently and accurately.
This role requires discretion, integrity, financial discipline, and the ability to manage end-to-end accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently maintain complete books of accounts for the Family Office.
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including receipts, payments, bank entries and journal postings.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual expense statements and financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny on a regular basis.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of all financial transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks when required.
- Monitor cash flows and provide financial insights to the family/principal.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance (ACCA/CA Inter preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Family Accountant or handling personal/family books independently.
- Additional 2 years of experience in a structured corporate or large organization environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally or similar).
- Proven ability to prepare and interpret P&L statements independently.
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, ledger management and financial controls.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Organized, disciplined and deadline-oriented.
- Professional communication skills.
