We are looking for an Accountant to be based in our Nicosia, Cyprus office. You will be working as part of a team within a fast-paced, fun, challenging and creative environment in order to achieve team-oriented goals. Reporting to the Accounting Manager the role will involve being responsible for the full accounts payable cycle.
What you'll be doing:
- Receive, review and process vendor invoices
- Process bank transfers and payments with other payment methods
- Handle various journal entries and accruals
- Reconciliation of GL accounts and inter-company transactions
- Reconciliation of month end Accruals Account
- Assist in forecasting cash requirement
- Responsible for payables duties during monthly/quarterly/yearly close cycles
- Responsible for receivables duties during monthly/quarterly/yearly close cycles
- Dealing with queries on invoices from internal approvers and Vendors
What you'll need to be successful:
Must haves:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance
- 1 year previous experience in an similar position
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to respect deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains software will be considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Strong command of the English language
