An established and respected international tax advisory and corporate services firm is currently seeking to hire an Accountant to join their expanding team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks for both local and international clients. - Perform daily bookkeeping and transaction recording for clients.
- Prepare reconciliations and financial reports as needed.
- Handle VAT/VIES returns, including registrations and de-registrations.
- Process payroll and manage related tax and social insurance obligations.
- Prepare management accounts for clients.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Communicate effectively with managerial staff and clients.
- University degree in Accounting or ACCA partially qualified.
- Candidates with LCCI Higher will also be considered if they have relevant experience in Cyprus accounting and tax.
- Working knowledge of VAT/VIES and Cyprus tax matters.
- Familiarity with CaseWare and Esoft will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent command of Greek and English (spoken and written).
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other Office applications.
- Outstanding organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Competitive fixed salary between €22,000 – €25,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
