Expectations from the role:
- Prepare and issue sales invoices, credit
notes, and debit notes.
- Record and process journal entries,
ensuring accurate and up-to-date accounting records per entity.
- Draft and record vendor bills in Odoo,
calculate applicable WHT, and prepare payment run schedules.
- Support tax filing preparation (VAT, WHT,
CIT, TP) and ensure compliance with applicable tax and zakat regulations.
- Prepare required documentation, schedules,
and reconciliations to support internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper filing systems and
financial documentation segregated per entity.
- Assist in intercompany reconciliations and
ensure accurate recording of intercompany transactions.
- Support payroll-related accounting entries
and reconciliations.
- Perform additional accounting duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 – 4 years of accounting experience.
- Experience working with multiple entities is a plus.
- Familiarity with Odoo or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- Exposure to bookkeeping, audit, payroll review, and tax regulations.
- Understanding of VAT, WHT, CIT, and basic transfer pricing concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple sets of books simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good English and Arabic proficiency (written and spoken).
