Key Responsibilities;
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and review financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in line with GAAP/IFRS
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Provide detailed financial analysis and performance metrics to support decision-making
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the budgeting process across departments
- Develop long-term forecasts
- Perform variance analysis (actual vs budget)
Cost Control & Inventory Management;
- Analyse product and manufacturing costs and margins
- Oversee inventory accounting and product costing
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements
Compliance, Audit & Tax;
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Manage external audits
- Prepare and file tax returns
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management;
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity
- Optimise accounts receivable, payable, and inventory management
Systems & Process Improvement;
- Utilise ERP systems to enhance reporting and streamline processes
- Improve financial systems and internal controls
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement;
- Lead and mentor the accounting team
- Partner cross-functionally with procurement, production, and marketing
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management
Requirements
Qualifications;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- CIMA, or equivalent qualification (highly preferred)
Experience;
- 3–5 years experience in accounting
- FMCG / Manufacturing / high-volume environment exposure
- Experience with inventory accounting, cost control, and COGS
- Exposure to audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance
Technical Skills;
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modelling)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and team development capability
- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Skills Required
