Role summary:
As an Accountant in our Corporate Solutions team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in international accounting while supporting day‑to‑day financial operations across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll assist with bookkeeping tasks, monthly accounts, financial statements, tax filings, invoice processing, and the migration of clients to new accounting systems. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build strong foundations in IFRS, local GAAP reporting, and corporate accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
As your main focus, you will be responsible for all accounting matters for client companies, such as bookkeeping, preparation/revision of accounting reports and Annual Accounts.
Preparing and revising execution of payments, submission of withholding tax returns, VAT tax returns and CIT returns; etc.
Communicate with clients, tax advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, government institutions.
Assist auditors in case of audits performed on client companies as well as tax advisors.
Involvement in other aspects of client work such as corporate legal and tax.
Skills & Experience needed:
Experience in accounting or auditing.
Degree in Accounting or similar.
Fluent English (written & conversational) - B2 at minimum.
Diligent with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions and make decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Driven mindset with a can-do attitude and resilient in a pressurized environment.
Organized and accurate in working methodologies with an eye for the detail and ability to work in a cross functional stakeholder environment.
Self-reliant in bringing assigned things forward and to a swift close, while at the same time being a team worker and willing to pick up other duties to assist in a small finance team.
Additional languages, e.g. Dutch would be considered a plus.
