About GigSafe
GigSafe is a contractor management platform built for gig and last-mile delivery operations. The platform manages the full independent contractor lifecycle – including onboarding, background checks, insurance verification, credential monitoring and training, through a single system that integrates with dispatch and fleet management tools.

We are building financial infrastructure for the future of flexible work: helping companies pay independent contractors accurately, on time and in compliance – simplifying complex financial operations that historically slow businesses down. As we continue to grow, we are strengthening our finance team with a detail-oriented accountant who enjoys building clean systems, improving processes and supporting a high-performing team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who takes pride in accurate work, thrives in a dynamic environment and wants more than just a seat at the table. You'll have real ownership in a lean, high-performing team at a fintech company redefining how contractors get paid. As we scale, the integrity of our financial data and the efficiency of our processes matter more than ever, and this role sits at the center of that work.

What We Value

Startup Mentality: You're energized by ambiguity, not slowed down by it. When the playbook doesn't exist, you write it. You move fast, stay adaptable, and don't need perfect conditions to make progress.

Give a Sh*t: You care about the work, the customers, the contractors on the platform, and the people sitting next to you. You hold yourself to a high standard not because someone's watching, but because mediocrity bothers you.

Ownership: You treat the company's success as your own, because it is. You take responsibility for outcomes and close the loop without being asked. When something's broken, you fix it, even if it's not your job.

Collaborative: You make the people around you better. Low ego, high trust, and emotionally intelligent. You communicate directly, share credit generously, and don't create unnecessary friction for your teammates.

Critical Thinker: You connect dots, figure things out, and bring solutions, not just problems. You're resourceful and intellectually curious, and you don't need hand-holding to do great work.

Benefits
  • Health, Dental & Vision: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents

  • Unlimited PTO: Flexible time off plus paid company holidays

  • Competitive Compensation: Competitive base salary with opportunities for performance-based bonuses

  • 401(k): Retirement savings plan

  • Equity: Stock options giving employees a meaningful stake in GigSafe's growth

  • Parental Leave: Paid leave for all new parents

What We Do

GigSafe gives companies the tools they need to onboard, pay, and stay on top of compliance for their independent contractor (IC) network—all in one place. We work with gig platforms, delivery services, home-service companies, staffing groups, dispatch operations, and any business that depends on a distributed 1099 workforce. Most teams today are stuck juggling a mess of systems: one tool for onboarding, another for compliance, another for payments, another for insurance—and endless spreadsheets in between. It’s slow, manual, and easy for things to fall through the cracks. Contractors feel it too: confusing requirements, repeated paperwork, and delays that keep them from getting to work. GigSafe brings everything together in one simple platform. We automate onboarding, collect and verify documents, keep an eye on ongoing compliance, and sync data wherever it needs to go. We also streamline payments and consolidate reporting so companies always know exactly where things stand with every contractor. Insurance is part of the picture, but it isn’t the whole story. Our platform helps companies track coverage, manage certificates, and meet requirements automatically—without chasing paperwork or relying on manual checks. For contractors, that means a cleaner, clearer experience that gets them up and running faster. Our goal is to make it easier for companies and contractors to work together. By removing busywork and operational friction, we help teams move faster, stay compliant, and operate with confidence—all while giving contractors a more modern and transparent experience. In short: GigSafe gives companies one place to manage onboarding, compliance, payments, insurance, and day-to-day operations for their entire IC network.

Why Work With Us

GigSafe is a small, fast-moving team building tools that make work easier for companies and the contractors they rely on. We live our values—do right by customers, find ground truth, give a shit, build through it—and we want people who care, take ownership, and want to make an immediate impact.
