The Accountant will support the EMEA operation through the effective and efficient analysis and entry of accounting data into our 2 main Belgian entities according to the corporate and local policies, and taking responsibility for the entire bookkeeping of our smaller EMEA entities and branches.
What You Will Do at Graco
- Accounting data entry in the Belgian entities: invoices, expenses, bank, various…
- Accounting data analysis & reconciliations in the Belgian entities
- Month-end close entries in the Belgian entities: payroll, accruals, prepaids,…
- Responsible for the entire bookkeeping of at least one small EMEA entity and one branch.
- Maintaining & updating the applicable EMEA VAT transactions
- Participate in various accounting projects on efficiency, globalization, and digitalization
- Support the AP Supervisor and Accounting Manager in the day-to-day operations
- Follow training & webinars on various EMEA-specific compliance topics
What You Will Bring to Graco
- Bachelor or master’s degree in finance & accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in international accounting & VAT
- Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Fluent in English and at least one other European language
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Oracle is a plus
