What You’ll Do:
- Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts including cash, credit cards, travel expenses, and outside contractors.
- Review supplier onboarding documents to ensure completeness and accuracy of data entered into the system.
- Perform monthly variance analysis and develop a strong understanding of financial data in the context of broader business operations.
- Maintain documentation and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls to align with SOX requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners such as Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, and Finance to establish best practices and drive continuous process improvement.
- Participate in process improvement projects to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of close-related processes.
What You Need:
- 2+ years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized and high degree of initiative
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills needed to develop collaborative working relationships with other departments
- Ability to understand problems quickly and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent technical accounting skills with a detailed understanding of current US GAAP
Bonus Qualifications:
- Big 4 and/or Public Company experience is a plus
- ERP (SAP or Oracle) systems experience is a plus
- CPA is a plus
- Experience with Blackline accounts reconciliation software
- Experience with system implementations and UAT testing

At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $88,320 - $110,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
