Enghouse is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join our team in the Raanana office. This role is integral to ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient end-to-end processing of financial transactions. Key responsibilities include the calculation and booking of accruals and prepayments, management of fixed assets, bank reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and accounts payable (AP) control, including invoice processing and payments. This is a Hybrid role
for our office in Israel requiring at least 2 days in office, reporting to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Monthly Closing Activities: Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and other general ledger entries while maintaining
accurate and timely
Balance sheet reconciliations, including Bank reconciliation meeting company Month End deadlines
- Oversee Accounts Payable Processes: Monitor invoice coding, approvals, and timely processing of payments.
- Collaborate on Payroll Processing: Work closely with the external payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll submissions.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register: Oversee additions
and depreciation to ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Coordinate VAT Reporting: Ensure the accurate calculation and timely submission of VAT filings in compliance with local regulations.
- Handle Intercompany Accounting: Manage intercompany recharges, journal postings, and reconciliations in coordination with global teams.
- Support the Year-End Audit: Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor queries, and supplying required documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Hebrew, written and verbal
- Hands-on experience with Priority software
- Bookkeeping Level 3 minimum qualification or equivalent University Degree
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
- Self-starter with a proactive and flexible mindset
- Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced finance environment is an asset
- Legally elegible to work in Israel without any sponsership.
