About Audiomob
Audiomob is a fast-growing adtech startup redefining how brands connect with gamers through non-intrusive in-game audio ads. Backed by Google and other leading VCs, we operate globally with a passionate team committed to innovation, impact, and sustainable growth.
As we continue to scale, we're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team and support day-to-day operations across our UAE and international entities.
Key Responsibilities- Accounts Receivable:
- Proactively chase and follow up with clients for outstanding payments
- Maintain accurate ageing reports and liaise with commercial teams on collections
- Accounts Payable & Payment Runs:
- Prepare and execute scheduled payment runs
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely settlements
- Payroll Support:
- Work with internal teams and payroll providers to process monthly payroll
- Ensure compliance with local laws and company policies
- Banking & Reconciliations:
- Perform regular bank reconciliations
- Monitor cash balances and support treasury planning
- General Accounting Duties:
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation
- Reporting:
- Provide timely and accurate financial data to the Head of Finance
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting needs
Requirements
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a startup, media, or tech environment
- Relevant professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent — part-qualified is acceptable)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, especially in client-facing finance matters
- Proactive mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
