What we need:
We are looking for an Accountant to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who can be a positive addition to our team culture and improve processes and internal controls that will enable the continued growth of Fresh Consulting. 
Your daily tasks could include, but aren’t limited to:

• Assist Controller in maintaining accurate and timely financial records and analysis
• Create customer invoices  based on contracts, POs using % Completion, Milestone and T&M information
• Communicate with both customers and vendors as needed 
• Monitor timesheets on a weekly basis and collect/verify missing data by communicating with employees.
• Help with month-end preparation, processing, closing andreporting including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations of both expense and balance sheet accounts
• Set-up completed subcontractor agreements and acquire W-9 to ensure internal and external compliance.
• Over-see processing of vendor invoices and track by profit center to ensure correct department allocation.
• Review and approval of employee expense reports and vendor payables in compliance with company policy
• Periodic State, Local & B&O Tax reporting 
• Assist in preparation and resolution of audit requests
• Participate in month and year-end processes and reconciliations
• Document processes and procedures
• Completion of ad hoc reporting requests
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Advanced level knowledge and experience in office tools, Google Sheets, and Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
• Experience working with enterprise-level accounting software
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and foundational GAAP knowledge

For a Washington-State-based role, the base salary hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
