Opportunity for Impact
TaxBit is seeking an accounting professional who’s a self-starter with a track record of accuracy and excellent communication skills to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. This role is essential to ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting-related activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and maintaining accurate financial records. To be successful, you should demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to track and meet deadlines. The company is growing rapidly, and this role may evolve with the business.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure timely payment of all vendor bills
- Issue customer invoices and follow up as needed
- Ensure customer payments are accurately captured and recorded
- Maintain accounting controls by following accounting policies and procedure
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Help implement and optimize accounting systems
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; could also be actively pursuing this degree; or 3+ years of relevant experience in AP/AR
- Understanding of and ability to work with accounting systems
- Proficiency in spreadsheets

- Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and pivot to different types of projects
- Flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning opportunities
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to articulate ideas and convey information clearly
The base salary range for this role is $61,000-$88,000. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Actual compensation will vary depending on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to location, experience, level, and job qualifications.
