We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to managing various accounting services, such as Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax and Audit Preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process employee expense reports, accounts payable and weekly cash disbursements.
• Handle 1099 processing at year-end.
• Compile and reconcile credit card statements and supporting documentation from card holders.
• Process all accounts payable payments.
• Verify and process timesheets, payroll, and leave management.
• Set up new employees in Deltek Costpoint and manage employee changes.
• Conduct AR aging reviews and respond to client correspondence.
• Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end closings.
• Assist with month end closing and reporting packages
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and maintain tax workpapers.
• Support implementation of accounting systems and workflows.
• Assist with annual budgeting process.
• Review subcontractor invoices, support contract spend plans, and prepare contract reports.
• Other accounting duties as assigned.
This is a full time, salaried, hybrid position.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in General Accounting, preferably within a government contracting environment.
• Hands on experience in DELTEK/Costpoint ERP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, intermediate level Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills.

• Strong analytical skills.
• Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Self-motivated and proactive in learning and professional development.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of employee, and independently manage time.
