Job Description:
Join our dynamic team at Global Shared Financial Services! We are looking for a dedicated individual to represent our services both locally and internationally. This role involves being the primary point of contact for fixed assets.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate recording and compliance of all financial transactions, assets, and liabilities.

Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and guidelines.

Manage monthly processes and month-end close of financial ledgers.

Prepare journals for routine accruals, prepayments, and other financial entries.

Perform SAP month-end closing activities.
-
Collaborate with internal teams to record financial information and resolve queries.

Complete and provide commentary on periodic Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.

Lead or contribute to quarterly Balance Sheet Review and Operational Review meetings.

Support fiscal/legal obligations such as VAT, Corporation Tax, and National Statistics Returns.

Act as the primary process owner for nominated financial processes.

Perform financial consolidation and reporting activities to meet Group deadlines.

Conduct payroll reconciliation activities and submissions.

Provide information and explanations to external auditors.

Ensure an efficient system of internal controls is in place.

Develop SOPs and Work Instructions for responsible companies and processes.
-
Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and control.
-
Provide back-up to other Shared Services teams and processes.
-
Perform Ad Hoc project work as required.

Identify opportunities for work intake and facilitate task intake into global Shared Financial Services.
