POSITION SUMMARY
The primary focus of this position will maintain some financial aspects of FORTNA Vietnam with direction from Chief of Accountant. This includes recording invoices, paying invoices, cash and bank reconciliations, monthly VAT report and other assigned tasks. This position must maintain a detailed understanding of all aspects of accounting and Labor laws what will affect the financial position of the Company.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Checking input invoices and ensure that they are compliant with local regulations.
- Ensuring all data is entered FAST accurately and is kept up to date.
- Monitoring outstanding balances, checking payment document and processing payments
- Preparing cash budgets.
- Supporting month end reporting and annual financial reports
- Preparing VAT reports and supporting VAT refund
- Reviewing input contracts, and working with vendors to finalize them (if needed)
- Coordinating with US based accountant to provide information as required.
- Performing other duties assigned by Chief of Accountant
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/Finance.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional international company.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards & practice (GAAP, IFRS) is a plus.
- Fluent in English and communication skills (written and verbal communication)
- Time sensitive, high transaction-based processing experience
- Proficient in FAST software (Fast Business Online)
- Willingness to assist in a wide variety of tasks.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION:
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Familiarity of financial analysis
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX/ Infor is a plus.
