Responsibilities  

• Process payables and revenue gathering with oversight of taxes and regulations
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts and government remittances
• Main resource for all day-to-day financial operations involving internal employees, including expense reports, credit card management and benefits record keeping 
• Assist in analytical review and investigation of monthly financial performance of Company
• Update of key reports and monitoring of treasury
• Participate in budgeting process with other departments
• Establish new guidelines and processes, with help in drafting and communicating to Company
• Finance point of contact for all departments

Qualification/Experience  

• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Experience and understanding of accounting processes
• Familiarity with SME accounting software like Xero, QBO or Sage
• Good knowledge of financial reporting
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite (with emphasis on Excel skills)
• Good communication skills in French & English
• Knowledge in data manipulation (SQL, PowerBI) is an asset
