Currently, we have an opening for an Accountant position on our team!

The ideal candidate possesses a solid accounting background with experience in analyzing information within financial statements, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Location:

This role is approved for hybrid work out of our Nashville offices (520 Royal Parkway, Suite 100) with a 3 days in office/2 days remote schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Review balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Responsible for assigned month-end close tasks including general ledger review, and monthly account reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and assess reasonableness of information.
• Assist with internal audits.
• Perform account analysis.
• Prepare and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis.
• Identify and resolve significant variances.
• Support divisions, departments and Business Planning and Analysis team with GL research.
• Prepare documentation of accounting processes as required.
• Ensure that GL accounts are being utilized in accordance with corporate policy and GAAP.
• Become a subject matter expert on the GL system and close processes.
• Own projects within the accounting department and working with Software Development and Product teams to launch new features or enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent job experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• 2-4 years of accounting or related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, etc.
• Knowledge of Oracle a plus
• Expertise in QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and staff
• Ability to take ownership and be accountable for issue resolution
• Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking
• Self-motivated individual with great initiative and ability to work independently
• Strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Pay Range:

$3,375.00 - $6,325.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
