Dedicated to one client’s portfolio of multiple properties with numerous tenants, this position’s responsibilities include assisting in analysis and preparation of monthly financial statements, accurate application of cash receipts and accounts payable, as well as timely remittance of critical payments such as utilities, taxes and mortgages. Must have a thorough knowledge of commercial leases and Yardi software. The candidate must be able to work independently to meet strict deadlines for multiple properties. Must be able to work efficiently with multiple property managers and other personnel.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the preparation of monthly reporting to clients, including accrual basis financial statements, variance explanations, and other supplemental information as required. Prepares and provides management with supporting documentation for management statements.
- Prepare and review Bank Reconciliation reports
- Manage the recording of new and amendments to existing tenant leases
- Assist in Commercial Tenants billing
- Responsible for month end close of all cash management, and accrued expenses accounting
- Performs analysis of balance sheet accounts
- Prepare monthly workpapers
- May assist in monthly review of financial statements and year-end audit
- Perform analysis and create ad hoc reports as requested by management
- Assist in the annual operating expense reconciliations / estimates
- Other duties and projects maybe assigned.

- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business related
Important Experience:
- 2-3 years accounting experience in Property Management, Residential experience preferred but not required
- Advanced Excel Knowledge
- Yardi experience preferred

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
