Job Description: The Role and Impact As an Accountant at Intel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of Intel's financial records. You will prepare and analyze financial data, manage audit processes, and contribute to compliance with global accounting standards, directly impacting Intel's operational excellence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive process improvements and help shape Intel's financial landscape in a rapidly evolving environment. Business group Finance is Intel's trusted partner for managing financial integrity and delivering accurate accounting, controllership, and reporting worldwide. This group plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing insights, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong internal controls that enable Intel's success in a competitive and innovative industry. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations in compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and Intel policies. - Support statutory audits by coordinating with auditors, preparing schedules, and delivering required documentation for financial statements. - Manage month-end accounts, ensuring accuracy, resolving variances, and providing actionable insights. - Prepare governmental filings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Develop and maintain finance policies, procedures, and internal controls to align with accounting standards. - Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Tax, Legal, and HR to meet financial compliance deliverables. - Contribute to global and local projects related to financial system optimization, process simplification, and legal entity restructuring. - Support SAP S4 implementation through design, testing, and configuration.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 2-3 years of hands-on experience gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training OR a Master's degree in Accounting or related field with no prior professional experience. - Proficiency in accounting principles and standards, including IFRS and US GAAP. - Knowledge of financial systems such as SAP S4 and tools like Microsoft Excel. - Familiarity with audit processes and regulatory compliance standards. Preferred Qualifications - Certification in accounting (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA, or equivalent). - Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. - Results-oriented mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to drive efficiency and innovation. - Experience working in multicultural teams or cross-functional environments.
