Accountant
The Accountant ensures complete, accurate, and timely accounting records that support reliable financial reporting and effective financial operations for the Sanhua Mexico Service & Management Platform. This role maintains strict compliance with company procedures and Mexican accounting and tax requirements while facilitating daily financial activities.
Main responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accounting transactions accurately and timely in the INFOR ERP system.
- Review supplier invoices and supporting documents, including approvals, purchase orders, CFDI, XML files, and payment documentation.
- Record accounts payable transactions in INFOR and reconcile supplier statements, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Monitor customer balances, record incoming payments, support collection follow-up, and reconcile accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and record bank and treasury transactions.
- Register fixed assets in INFOR, maintain supporting documentation, and record depreciation and amortization.
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and confirm intercompany balances.
- Upload CFDI invoices and payment information and maintain the electronic accounting files required by tax authorities.
- Provide accounting documentation and information for internal and external audits and tax calculations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within accounting and finance processes.
Qualifications:
Required:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in general accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and treasury transactions.
- Intermediate proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of Mexican accounting and tax requirements, including CFDI and XML documentation.
Preferred:
- Experience with INFOR or similar ERP systems.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
