The Role
Perform general ledger accounting, month-end close, expense and bank reconciliations, prepare accruals and journal entries, support Procurement/AP system, audits, and finance process improvements for multiple international entities.

The position is part of a team responsible for General Ledger accounting and financial analysis for the Swiss International principal company and International sales entities across Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Expenses report analysis, review and reconciliations for several entities.

  • Bank reconciliations for several entities.

  • Monthly expense accrual and other journal entries preparation for bank, payroll and other.

  • Month-end closing for the assigned entities.

  • Monthly reconciliation of a set of balance sheet accounts.

  • Analysis preparation at month-end for the assigned entities or scope of tasks.

  • Support the business and the Finance team in the daily use of Procurement/AP system

  • Participate in developing or updating procedures and processes to improve controls and maximize efficiencies.

  • Support internal and external audits

  • Support to Managers on various Finance related activities.

  • Back-up for other colleagues.

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in similar function is recommended. Freshly graduate welcomed (HEG, etc..)

  • Accounting degree or commercial diploma.

  • Pro-active, hands on mentality, motivated, team player.

  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work setting.

  • Experience working in a US company and multinational environment is preferred.

  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written, fluency with other European languages will be a plus.

  • At ease with the usual software tools (MS Office, ERP, accounting packages, etc …).
