Summary:

This position is responsible for multi-state, multi-company tax reconciliation, return preparation, and payment
of indirect taxes and fees. It also involves journal entry preparation, data analysis, tax research, assistance
with audits, and collaboration with other professionals internal and external to the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of sales, use, and other indirect tax returns and payments
• Reconciliation of tax liability accounts
• Preparation of journal entries
• Assistance with federal, state, and local tax audits 
• Aid in responses to requests made by taxing authorities 
• Resolution of internal tax questions
• Provide recommendations to management through tax research
• Performance of data analysis using various software applications such as Microsoft Excel
• Collaboration within the indirect tax group to complete deadlines accurately and timely
• Support in taxing decisions of new products and services
• Perform additional duties as assigned
 

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in accounting
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team to adhere to deadlines and problem-solve
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: 
• CPA license
• 1 year of related work experience
• Experience in data analysis using Microsoft Excel
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods while viewing computer screen, use computer keyboard, 
and/or mouse.
