Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
Responsible for monthly general ledger close activities.
Prepare monthly journal entries.
The understanding to substantiate financial transactions and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Provide analysis to business partners.
Produce timely and accurate financial and other management reports.
Continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process.
Keep up to date with financial laws, rules and regulations and internal policies.
Calculate royalty payments per assigned vendor using data provided by supervisor or obtained
through internal reports.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Solid analytical, problem solving and financial troubleshooting skills
Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and procedures
Ability to adapt local practices to global standards
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Desire to work in a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization both written and
verbally
Qualifications
5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
2+ years of specialized/industry experience
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
