Job Title Accountant Senior Associate
General Purpose
Conducts activities as an individual contributor in support of small to medium projects/functions or small to medium business units. Assignments provide exposure to fundamental financial concepts /issues/ activities.
Essential Functions
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with internal and external audits.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential areas for improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Work closely with other finance team members and departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist junior team members with their tasks and provide guidance as needed.
- Back up for other team members and counter parts in business supported.
- Document and update department procedures.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- Professional degree in Accounting / Finance (CA/ICWA)
- 3 -5 years of experience in Financial Accounting
- Experience in MNC Preferable
- Experience in ERP, MS Excel

- Effective communication skills
- Computer skills – MS Office (Word, excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible to work in shifts as required
- Positive attitude to change and adaptable to meet new challenges
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
- Self-motivated – able to work with minimum supervision

- Accuracy and quality of reconciliation
- Adherence to timelines
- Internal customer satisfaction
