Lendlease Singapore is currently looking for a REIT Accountant to join our finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze property Revenue, operating expenses (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX) against budgets.
- Prepare and support property-level cash flow projection
- Review and validate REIT accounting transactions.
- Prepare quarterly, and annual financial performance packs for submission to the REIT Manager.
- Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Prepare and submit quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.
- Assist in property tax submissions, corporate tax computations, and facilitate internal and external audit requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, REIT Finance and other stakeholders.
- Provide backup support for month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal preparation and account reconciliations.
- Work on ad hoc projects and initiatives at the direction of the Senior Finance Manager
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, REIT, real estate, or property fund accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standard, GST, and Singapore corporate tax requirements.
- Proficient in Excel and ERP systems with strong analytical skills.
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret financial information.
