YOUR MISSION

At Glovo, our Finance team thrives on ownership, precision, and impact. We love diving deep into details, driving improvements, and creating value across everything we do. This is a great 18-month fixed-term opportunity to cover a maternity leave and be part of exciting projects during this time.

THE JOURNEY

  • Play a key role in general accounting and controlling, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all ledgers.
  • Own balance sheet reconciliations (customers, vendors, related parties, banks, tax authorities, etc.).
  • Manage treasury forecasting, analyze variances, and process payments.
  • Handle billing and invoicing – ensuring both customer and partner accuracy.
  • Review, process, and control accounting documentation for completeness and correctness.
  • Partner with the Commercial team as their go-to person for finance insights and operational support.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to simplify, automate, or enhance workflows.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc AR/AP, inventory, and billing reports.
  • Communicate with HQ, regional, and local stakeholders, supporting implementation of new processes and initiatives.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing and reconciliation activities.
  • Cover other accounting and analytical procedures as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 2 years of experience in Accounting, Audit, or Corporate Finance, ideally in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS, and familiarity with statutory accounting and tax compliance.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Business Central is a plus!).
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills – comfort with large datasets and reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of English and the local language.
  • Self-driven, organized, and deadline-oriented, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
