Responsibilities:

• Ensure company finances align with established procedures and systems.
• Assist the financial controller in preparing monthly management accounts.
• Take responsibility for VAT compliance and government statistics reporting.
• Manage and safeguard company assets.
• Support the Finance Manager in assisting the Management Team.
• Provide necessary support to ensure financial strategies are effectively implemented.
• Handle and delegate administrative tasks required by the post.
• Provide induction training on Methode accounting systems for new staff.

Requirements:

• ACCA qualified or partially qualified Accountant with at least 3 years work experience in accounting, combined with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines and to work in a team environment.
• Ability to be flexible and multitasking.
• Methodical approach, enthusiastic with an emphasis on accuracy and quality of work.
• Goal Oriented Self Starter.
• PC-based computing experience is essential.
