Performs a variety of routine technical accounting and/or auditing work, which requires the application of accounting theory and practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs professional-level accounting duties such as:
• Performing and reviewing reconciliations with applicable support
• Preparing work papers, amortization schedules and reports
• Examines a variety of accounting documents to verify accuracy of computations
• Ensures transactions are in accordance with applicable authority, policies, procedures, and are
recorded consistent with acceptable accounting standards
• Provides assistance to field staff to demonstrate or explain financials
• Prepares accounting reports utilizing manual methods and/or computer software
• Demonstrates or explains accounting practices and procedures as requested
• Prepares variance analysis on assigned accounts.
• Uploads journal entries on monthly basis.
• May prepare foreign currency translations.
• Prepares various reports for compliance with GAAP regulations.
• Responds to SOX and internal/external audit requests as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline
Experience
• Two (2) years of Full-cycle accounting experience or equivalent experience in a related field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Understanding of accounting principles, GAAP
• Ability to analyze large volume of data and provide recommendations
• Ability to work independently, prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
• Ability to prepare and present working papers and supporting documentation
• Proficiency with PC software such as Excel, other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to express ideas clearly and effectively in both written and oral communications
• Express interest in process review and improvements.
