As a Revenue Accountant at Micron Technology, Inc., you will support day to day operational activities to support the Company’s distribution business. You will support project management activities which include system integration, data reporting, and driving financial analysis to measure the health of the distribution business. You will perform distribution controls and analytics through audits and trend analysis and other responsibilities as listed below. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Process weekly reports – reported inventory, point-of-sale, claim in channel management tool (Model N) 
• Resolve discrepancies with distributors on reported inventory, point-of-sale, claims or other pricing arrangements  
• Provide data analytics and project management support  
• Ensure compliance to policies and SOX control
• Support month-end close activities
• Drive process improvement and automation to streamline process
• Ad hoc task as assign including those not related to distribution business

Key Skill/Competencies

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
• SAP experience highly desirable
• Organized and detail oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy  
• Experience in data analysis & result oriented
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
• Self-starter and able to work independently  

Education & Experience

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• 2 to 3+ years accounting or finance experience
• Shared service experience preferred
• Must have Japanese Language Proficiency (at least JLPT N3)
