Job Summary

This position is responsible for researching and applying premium as well as processing provider refunds, and miscellaneous payments based on the various internal systems. Evaluating data for reasonableness and/or researching questions or troubleshooting errors that may involve several systems. Responds to both internal and external customers’ inquiries. Assist with creating various reports based on business needs. In addition, this position also assists with/responsible for daily payment management which may include analyzing incoming checks, ACH, and/or wire payments as well as claim data received by providers; creating payment allocation spreadsheets and procedures; analyzing spreadsheets and performing independent reconciliations of the payment and/or claims data.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management OR 4 years accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting.
  • MS Office and Access.
  • Experience with Financial Systems.
  • Statistical data analysis.
  • Good grammar, clear, concise communication with appropriate word choice.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Banking and payment processing experience. 
  • 1-2 years in treasury, finance, accounting and/or claims experience. 
  • Bank software experience. 
  • Experience with HCSC Financial Reporting and Billing systems.

Please note that this role is HYBRID with an in-office requirement of 3 days a week

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range$41,700.00 - $92,800.00

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
