Purpose
Entry level position performing general accounting duties, invoice entry for A/P and support for customer invoicing function.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive and track purchased reroll
- Tie out purchased reroll at month end and insure inventory is accurate
- Monitor and record all transactions for outside slitting
- Review West plant data collection for completeness and accuracy
- Update Customer Specs
- Review Ship Tally Detail Report
- Prepare Finished Goods Inventory Roll Forward at Month End
- Provide Support to Senior Cost Accountant on a daily basis
- Work in a safe and healthy manner, adhering to all safety rules and practices.
- Represent the company’s core values of being committed, action oriented, and sustainable.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- CPA preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to coordinate and work cross-functionally
- Self-starter, detail oriented and able to work well without continual supervision
