Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support and execute day-to-day financial operations in Ghana. This role plays a key part in maintaining clear communication with banks and internal teams, ensuring processes remain aligned with company policies and financial standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and eager to grow within a dynamic financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support daily financial operations, including reconciliations, reporting, and documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining regular communication with partner banks and tracking updates.
  • Help ensure that financial documentation complies with internal policies and relevant standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data and assist with periodic reports.
  • Support onboarding new financial partners by preparing and collecting required documentation.
  • Help maintain internal financial records to ensure they are organized and audit ready.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in processes.
  • Stay informed on basic regulatory changes relevant to finance operations and flag concerns as needed.
  • Ensure all relevant tax filings for the company are submitted within the due date.
  • Act as the company’s legal representative when required for banking, regulatory, tax and corporate purposes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Applicant must be a National of the country. 
  • Member of ICAG.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a finance-related role.
  • Basic understanding of financial operations, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and basic finanial tools.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Assist in audit processes and liaise with external auditors 
  • Familiar with local tax compliance requirements. 
  • Eager to learn and grow within the role.
  • Willing and eligible to act as the company’s legal representative

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
