Position Overview:
Process all accounting transactions to ensure monthly closings in compliance with internal processes and deadlines.
Responsibility :
Bank activities:
Daily launch of bank transactions (in euros and dollars) in the bank interface
Bank updates (entry of bank charges, direct debits and customer payments, entry of social security transfers, taxes, etc...)
weekly bank reconciliations
Transmission of forecast elements (settlements to be made and payments to be received) to the treasury department as required
Customer activities:
Editing and sending invoices to customers (by e-mail or on specific customers platforms)
Unpaid customer reminders by e-mail
Customer sales orders release in Oracle
Supplier activities:
Invoice entry mainly in ORACLE (and a few in COUPA), validation, transfer to general accounting
Payments to suppliers via Oracle and bank interface
Follow-up of several excel files (engagements, vehicles, cell phones, etc…)
Expense report processing
Verify and account in Oracle/Concur
Preparation of various declarations (VAT, fees, C3S…) + online declarations
Month-end work
Various end-of-month jobs (customer/supplier reconciliations, various reports to be edited, etc…)
Preparation and accounting of monthly accruals (FNP, CCA, accounts 63, etc, projects...)
Review of balance sheet accounts (around 90 accounts)
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
French Bac + 2 (advanced technician's certificate) in accounting + 5 years' previous experience
or accounting bachelor's degree with 10 years' proven experience in a similar position.
General accounting skills as well as customer, supplier and bank.
Knowledge of accounting entries schemes. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables). Knowledge of one ERP and English skills
