About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team reporting to the Controller. In this role, you will be a key player in the Company's procurement and vendor payment processes, while supporting the Company’s growth efforts with participation in ad-hoc projects such as system implementation support (procurement, time and expenses), as well as month-end close responsibilities.
The ideal candidate has experience managing high volume of transactions within the accounts payable function.
Due to the fast-paced and high growth nature of the Company, the candidate must be detail oriented and have strong organizational and communication skills.
What You’ll Do
Responsible for full-cycle procure to pay processing for all US subsidiaries. This includes new vendor onboarding and bill processing.
Perform month-end close activities.
Process employee expense reimbursement.
Respond to all inquiries from business partners and vendors in a timely fashion on email and Slack group.
Prepare and manage the annual Form 1099 reporting.
Assist with critical system implementations and/or enhancements including procurement, time & expenses, and accounts payable decisions.
Assist in designing process improvement efforts in the accounts payable functions.
Assist with external financial and tax audits.
Assist in special projects as assigned by management.
Experience using Bill.com, Ramp, Navan, and NetSuite will be considered an added advantage.
What You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
Enrollment with IFAC Member body is preferred
0-2 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP
Advanced Excel & ERP Skills
Good at communicating with English
