Your responsibilities:
Taking active part in transition of processes between Local Team and GBS organization: participating in workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, SOP preparation, contacting: clients, business partners & Global HUB.
Proactive initiative of standardizing the new processes to a common shape in cooperation with RTR experts
Taking responsibility of internal and SOX controls preparation – standard and newly taken over ones
Preparing manual and automatic postings and entering them into the system as part of the general ledger
Closing accounting periods in accordance with the defined list of activities and provisions of the service contract
Posting and/or calculation of prepayments and accruals and provisions
Opening and closing accounting periods in the books
Handling new/ongoing transactions on Fixed Assets (creation, change, disposals, depreciation, reporting)
Posting bank statements and reconciling bank account accounts
Job-related support for other team members
Reconciling balance sheet accounts and general ledger accounts
Assisting in other day-to-day administrative tasks
Other specific activities determined for the assigned accounting area
Other activities and duties ordered by the immediate superior.
Our requirements:
- Fluency in the English language in the business environment (at least B2)
- Academic degree or equivalent diploma in Accounting or any official accounting certificate (e.g. SKWP, ACCA)
- Experience in transition process
- Work experience in 2-3 in accounting (preferably Polish accounting)
- SAP & Blackline knowledge would be an asset
