The Role

Reporting to the APAC Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be supporting the APAC Finance Team in activities including (but not limited to); assisting with daily accounting tasks, preparing journal entries, supporting month end reporting and maintaining accurate financial records

What you will do

  • Reporting and management of some of the ASIA based regions
  • SEA Fraud billings and postings
  • Payroll for some of the Asian entities
  • Looking after the accounts payable function for some of the required SEA entities (incl. but not limited to the management of the GBG procurement system and review payments) and bank operations
  • Completing of monthly reporting requirements
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensuring the integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial data in the accounting system
  • Identify and recommend improvements to finance operations processes and procedures
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to increase level of service in relation to the Finance support function
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with a good knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Skills or Experience in using Microsoft Business Central is preferred.
  • Someone who is confident and self-motivated with a true passion for this type of role.
  • The ability to autonomously plan your workload and focus on the right priorities
  • The ability to communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve any queries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer literacy skills – particularly Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • A highly motivated individual, that brings energy and confidence, that is target driven and able to work as part of a team
  • You will be able to demonstrate a positive, engaging, hard-working approach and exhibit the company values
  • Someone who seeks to maximise opportunities; i.e. challenges ways of working, sets and adopts regional practices, seeks and provides information and clarification.  Proactively suggesting and supporting improvements and efficiency
