Job Description

THIS ROLE

A mid-level accounting position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services with minimal supervision. This role handles both low and medium complexity funds, focusing on core accounting processes and standard cluster communications. The position requires independent execution of established procedures while maintaining quality and timeliness standards. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You’ll prepare financial statements, NAV reports, and other deliverables in accordance with prescribed guidelines, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established standards and detailed checklists.
  • You’ll apply relevant accounting standards and requirements, maintain accurate fund books and records, perform daily bookkeeping activities, and support periodic financial reporting.
  • You’ll process routine transactions, including capital calls, distributions, and investor notices, while following quality control procedures and risk management protocols.
  • You’ll identify and escalate potential operational risks, conduct self-reviews to maintain quality standards, and support the documentation and adherence of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • You’ll build knowledge of client-specific requirements and industry practices, track work progress through timesheets, participate in training and process improvement initiatives, and perform additional duties as required to support business needs.

    Qualifications

    ABOUT YOU

    • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 1.5 years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
    • You have a strong understanding of accounting principles and fund structures, with the ability to independently manage moderately complex financial data and accounting processes.
    • You are proficient in accounting systems and tools, with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • You demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate and timely results.
    • You possess strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset and openness to feedback and continuous improvement.

    Skills Required
