Account Support Representative

This position is an integral part of the Omron Healthcare Operations team - working directly with customers, company sales representatives and supply chain management team members. This position will work with all aspects of the company to facilitate a smooth flow of orders to cash. Responsible for managing all aspects of order entry and communicating with customers on the status of their orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports an efficient order to cash process for the customers.
  • Enters/Reviews Sales Order information.
  • Initiates the necessary information for daily shipments based on the customers requested delivery requirements.
  • Coordinates customer delivery including quoting the freight charges, communicating the delivery details internally and externally, and monitoring until closure.
  • Provides customers with requested information through both oral and written communication.
  • Expedites all intra-company functions to assure timely shipment of product. Escalates issues as needed.
  • Monitors customer web sites during prescribed windows of time to identify changes in customer requirements. Modifies internal procedures to reflect these changes.
  • Issues Return Material Authorizations; will serve as primary or backup for returns processing.
  • Manage VitalSight RPM program orders and other VitalSight customer-facing activities, as assigned.
  • Assist with EDI order process and trouble-shooting; will serve as backup for this process, as assigned.
  • Assist Deductions Specialist on investigation of chargebacks from customers; communicate with customers to resolve discrepancies, as assigned.
  • Canada (and some US states) recycling policies, processes, and reporting by working with supply chain function, as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year in Customer Service and/or Operations required, 3 years preferred.
  • Experience in business-to-business (B2B) operations and/or manufacturing distribution is preferred.
  • Experience working with U.S. based retail customers is preferred.
