As an Account Supervisor at SixSpeed, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing account performance, and guiding your project teams toward success. You will serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, ensuring strategies are translated into actionable plans and executed with excellence. In this role, you’ll balance strategic thinking with hands-on management — mentoring Account Executives and Coordinators, managing budgets and forecasts, and helping clients see SixSpeed as an extension of their own team. We’re looking for a confident, grounded leader who can bring clarity, direction, and energy to both clients and colleagues.
This is an in-person role based at our Minneapolis office, and candidates must be local to the Twin Cities area, in office at least three days per week.
THE TASK AT HAND
- Build and maintain strong client relationships at the mid-to-senior level, serving as their trusted partner
- Lead and mentor Account Executives and Coordinators, supporting their growth and ensuring team success
- Oversee the execution of integrated projects and campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and above expectations
- Manage client budgets, forecasts, and overall account profitability with accuracy and accountability
- Anticipate client needs and proactively provide solutions that drive business growth
- Guide the development of proposals, scopes of work, estimates, and client presentations
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align creative solutions with client KPIs and business goals
- Contribute to new business development through organic growth within accounts and participation in agency pitches
- Share knowledge of client business and industry trends across teams to ensure collective alignment and informed decision-making
WHO YOU ARE
- 5+ years of account management experience within a marketing, advertising, or agency environment
- Proven experience managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with a high level of organization
- Strong communicator and negotiator who builds trust and credibility with clients and teams
- Skilled in financial management, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability oversight
- A collaborative leader who leads by example, mentors team members, and fosters professional growth
- A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to connect big-picture vision with executional detail
- Passionate about building brands, identifying opportunities, and delivering meaningful business results
- Comfortable navigating challenges with confidence, composure, and a solutions-first mindset
- Have experience managing Marketing Campaigns, Content, Experiences, and Media
- A hungry and curious person, unafraid to try new things in pursuit of growth
- Brings a point of view to the work alongside Strategy and Creative counterparts with the goal of delivering the highest quality final product possible
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Genuine curiosity about outdoor recreation, powersports, and enthusiast-driven categories, with the ability and desire to develop strong product knowledge
- An aptitude for understanding technical products and translating features, specifications, and seemingly small product differences into what actually matters to the consumer
- The ability to build the product fluency and category knowledge needed to speak credibly with highly knowledgeable clients and consumers
A PLUS, BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Personal passion for or experience with powersports, motorsports, outdoor recreation, or adjacent enthusiast categories
- Existing familiarity with powersports products, consumers, terminology, and the technical differences that drive purchase decisions

This role offers a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000* per year.
*Don’t let this range drive your decision to apply. Actual compensation packages are based on the level of skill and experience each candidate brings to their role. Similarly, there may be a more senior or junior position available that would be a better fit with your expertise. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the requirements of the position.
