Job Description

As an Account Specialist you will:

  • Implement and document new or changed processes
  • Clarify new customer requirements for order-to-cash process and support to define our internal processes to satisfy these requirements
  • Set up new customers and pricing in our SAP system including any EDI-connections as required.
  • Manage customer orders before and after SOP with proper internal and external communication and order management in SAP
  • Support accounts receivables reconciliation for timely cash collection.
  • Communicate closely with customers by email, telephone or if needed, in person for any order or payment issues or other inquiries
  • Manage customer portal site to receive orders, submit quotations or get the necessary information.
  • Collaborate closely with the Korean Account Manager as well as with other team members locally and globally
  • Support internal forecasting activity by securing the latest forecast data from the customer or their portal and by maintaining master data in our business planning system
  • Support internal reporting and process control
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement by proposing and completing local improvement initiatives and participating in global initiatives.
  • Ensure Best Business Practices regarding communications, collaboration, and escalation as needed.
  • Be expected to work with various members of our customer team including account management and program development
  • managers, supply chain planners, warehouse representatives, finance team, and externally with our customers’ purchasing and accounts payable departments.

Skills

  • Demonstrated extensive experience with order to cash process. Ideally in the automobile industry.
  • Excellent SAP SD module knowledge and MS Office skills.
  • Good organizing, process alignment, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Korean native speaker with fluent written and verbal English skills.
  • Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks and work effectively in a multi-cultural team across several time-zones.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Order Management experience required
