About the role
The Account Specialist role offers the opportunity to take ownership of and drive significant sales growth with industry leaders. You would partner closely with these key customers to understand and support their business through the value of the Reece product and service. Here you’ll have a future you can feel good about.
Your day-to-day
A typical day involves:
Business development and early engagement
Design support and product specification
Quoting, pricing and tender submission
Project award and contract finalisation
Procurement and supplier coordination
Order management and logistics
Project coordination and stakeholder communication
Delivery, installation and handover support
After sales, warranty and account management.
We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:
Commercial plumbing product knowledge — Strong understanding of front-of-wall bathroom fittings and fixtures (tapware, sanitary ware, shower systems, accessories, mirrors, heated towel rails, etc.)
- B2B sales & account management — Proven experience managing commercial accounts and building long-term client relationships
- Project management — Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to timelines, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Stakeholder engagement — Confident communicating with architects, designers, developers, contractors, and suppliers at all levels
- Negotiation skills — Experience negotiating pricing, warranty terms, and freight arrangements with suppliers
- Supply chain & logistics — Understanding of order fulfilment, international freight (AU–NZ), and delivery coordination across multiple branches
- Quoting & tendering — Experience preparing competitive quotes and tender responses for commercial projects
- Detail-oriented — Accuracy with pricing, product codes, specifications, and documentation is essential
- Self-motivated & proactive — Able to work independently, follow up persistently, and drive projects forward
- NZ building standards knowledge — Familiarity with relevant NZ standards and council regulations is advantageous
