About the role: 

The position of Accounts Executive supports the goal and objective achievement of the Endoscopy products within the north east Region of Mexico. The position is required to engage and promote sales of products and services offered by Boston Scientific. This role is responsible for the territory’s direct accounts and, reports to the Regional Sales Manager. The AE develops as a professional sales representative developing and building long term relationships with stakeholders and HCPs. 


Key responsibilities: 

  • Develops and executes the account plans for each customer. Assuring the needs and priorities of the main customers are met. 
  • Responsible for pursuing leads and providing the tools to maximize the benefits of the services given. 
  • Coordinates with the back-office team (Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Finance etc..) to resolve customer requests. 
  • Negotiate and processes customer orders to achieve quota. 
  • Device Management: Monitor inventory levels, initiate logistics, i.e. shipments and movement tracking of investigational products according to regulatory and company guidelines. 
  • Collaborates with the Territory Manager on business strategy and tactics at the physician level. Demonstrates mastery of all sales tools and programs available.  Demonstrates a deep understanding of the competition’s strengths and weaknesses. 
  • Executes key account plans to develop different therapies in collaboration with the Field Clinical Specialist of the territory. 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, health care, medical devices or a related commercial environment.
  • Experience working directly with physicians, hospitals or other health care professionals.
  • Experience developing and managing customer relationships in a commercial or health care environment.
  • Advanced English proficiency at the B2 level or higher, with the ability to participate in U.S.-based training and complete certification activities in English.
  • Ability to travel more than 25% of the time throughout Nuevo León, Coahuila and Chihuahua.
  • Ability to fulfill on-call responsibilities as business needs require.
  • Valid U.S. visa or willingness and ability to obtain one for required travel to the United States during onboarding and certification.
  • Ability to be based within the assigned Northeast Mexico territory, with Monterrey preferred.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, biomedicine, chemistry, medicine, a health care-related field or a similar discipline.
  • Experience in medical devices, health care technology or hospital-based commercial roles.
  • Exposure to operating rooms, endoscopy, pulmonary, hemodynamic or surgical environments.
  • Experience supporting clinical procedures.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM.
