Position Summary:
The Account Research Specialist is responsible for supporting the development of market account profiles including strategic account comparisons, national account profiles, regional health plan profiles, integrated delivery network/health system, cancer center, and other profiles suites based on client demand. This individual also supports various analytical tasks for market research projects in assigned practices and other service areas.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Profile Support
- Develop and refine profiles
- Conduct thorough secondary research to address research objectives
- Support team members in the creation of profile data collection tools
- Co-authoring sections of final reports and PowerPoint presentations
- Managing project timelines, providing status reports, and serving as liaison with operations.
- Data entry and analysis of information from third-party vendors and other resources into drafts of profiles products
- 2. Research & Analysis Support
- Drafting and testing online data collection tools
- Formatting surveys and discussion guides with support from research project team members
- Conducting basic statistical analysis
- All other duties as assigned
- Development
- Champions organizational initiatives across the firm

- Education & Experience Required:
- B.S./B.A in relevant field of study required
- Experience with relevant project development/secondary research (including through employment, coursework, etc.)
- Skills & Abilities Requirements:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Must have knowledge of the U.S. Healthcare system
- Project management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels
- Must have ability to work independently when necessary
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluent in English (both written and oral)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., business, the U.S. health management, research)
- Willingness to learn and maintain areas of expertise about the U.S. healthcare environment, including market access, pharmaceutical sales, policy, or other areas as needed to meet client objectives
