BloomNet is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Relationship Manager (ARM) to support and grow our network of florists across Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania, including the Pittsburgh market. This is a field-based role ideal for someone who thrives on building strong partnerships, delivering value-driven solutions, and managing a dynamic territory.
As an ARM, you will serve as a trusted advisor to your customers—helping florists maximize their business through BloomNet’s products, services, and programs while driving long-term customer success and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with florists across the assigned Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania territory.
- Conduct regular in-person and virtual meetings to educate customers on BloomNet offerings, identify business needs, and drive engagement.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Develop and execute a structured territory and follow-up strategy to increase customer retention, engagement, and program adoption.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and drive incremental revenue through BloomNet products, services, and programs.
- Serve as a trusted business advisor by understanding each customer's business, challenges, and growth opportunities and recommending solutions that deliver value.
- Stay informed on floral industry trends, competitor activity, market conditions, and customer needs to effectively position BloomNet.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage customer relationships, maintain an accurate sales pipeline, track account activity, document follow-up, and report performance metrics.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Service, Product, and other internal teams to resolve customer needs and support long-term client success.
- Represent BloomNet during regular market visits, trade shows, industry events, and other customer-facing activities throughout the territory.
- Effectively manage a large geographic territory and travel schedule while maintaining consistent communication and follow-up with customers.
- Share customer insights, market intelligence, and best practices to contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in outside sales, territory sales, account management, business development, or a related customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals, growing customer relationships, and managing a sales territory.
- Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Customer-first mindset with the ability to develop trusted partnerships and identify solutions that support customer growth.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to independently manage a large geographic territory.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and technology platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms; Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania, up to 75% of the time.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
